The Estheticians Pharmacology Research Institute (EPRI) is an educational body dedicated to furthering the industry by offering "hands-on" classes to health and beauty professionals and non-professionals in the scientifically-referenced theory and practice of therapeutic esthetics and related subjects. EPRI was established in 1975 by medical chemist Dr. Clyde Johnson and his wife, Florence Johnson, a California registered cosmetology instructor. EPRI has hosted students from all corners of the globe.
